A few words of encouragement

Here we are already at the halfway point. The glow of the Olympic flame is beginning to appear at the end of the road to Olympia. Now all that's left is to redouble your efforts... and show your rivals what you can do!

Faster. Higher. Stronger.

The motto of the Olympic Games perfectly reflects the vision that motivates us all this summer.

This constant desire to excel, which pushes us towards our best performance. You feel it all around you, among your teammates and in yourself, and that is what will lead to excellence once again.

Since ancient Greece, games are organized to celebrate the best of humanity. To find out how far one can go. And to prove that each record can be beaten.

This year, I invite you to follow this same path to Olympia. You will face challenges and setbacks, but if you persist, you will be met with honors at the finish line.

Just like the Olympians of yesterday and today, we are competing for our team’s glory, but mostly to show that that for us, “faster, higher, stronger” is more than just a nice motto. It’s a way of life.

I wish you a 2021 President’s Campaign crowned with success.

Happy President’s Campaign 2020!

Reach the highest step of the podium

The Olympic dream.

A long path made up of courage, determination and the will to win. It is a relentless quest to outperform your rivals, but most of all yourself.

Just like Olympic athletes, you will have to work hard. Listen to your coaches, let yourself be inspired by those who achieved glory before you, and be disciplined. It’s the only way to blaze a path to Olympia.

And like any good coach, I encourage you to visualize your path. See each small success you will achieve, each obstacle that you will overcome, each finish line that you will cross.

That is how you will be able to reach the medals ceremony by proudly wearing your team colours, and stand on the Olympic podium. And for us, the top step of the podium is the highly coveted President’s Cup. Always keep in mind that this dream is within your grasp.

This summer stir up the flame that is burning in you.

Tegea Patrice Fortin

Tegea

Patrice Fortin

According to legends, Tegea was founded by a great hero who erected a temple in honour of Athena, goddess of wisdom, but also of warfare and protectress of cities. These are the unifying elements that will serve us well on the road to Olympia. Together, we will use cunning and intelligence, but also a tireless enthusiasm to win the honours of this major historical competition.

Alexandria Jean-Sébastien Siméon

Alexandria

Jean-Sébastien Siméon

The largest city in ancient Greece, this Egyptian jewel was a true beacon, renowned for its fervor, its knowledge which was the envy of the entire world, and its flourishing economic activities. As a coach for the Alexandrians, it is these values of excellence and ambition that I encourage you to defend. Together, we will work hard so that Alexandria’s greatness shines again during this President’s Campaign.

Athens Éric Leclerc

Athens

Éric Leclerc

Athens is the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Strength, boldness and victory are literally part of its history. It is not by chance that the Acropolis still dominates the city today, which was a temple to honour the goddess of military strategy. Athenians did not back away from anything for the pride of their city, and I want my team to be driven by the same sense of honor, and the same desire to win. This summer, we will be leaving the other teams in ruins!

Sparte Samuel Lajoie

Sparte

Samuel Lajoie

As you know, the Spartans were formidable warriors, whose prowess on the battlefield is still told in the legends of today. This military strength was not even protected by walls or fortifications, because it was said at the time that a well-defended city should be surrounded by fighters, and not bricks. It is with this combative spirit but also solidarity that I fully intend to lead my Spartan troops on the path to victory to Olympia.

Troy François Raymond

Troy

François Raymond

According to legend, the great city of Troy was simply untouchable and unreachable, with its walls and ramparts built by none other than the gods Apollo and Poseidon. Troy is therefore a synonym for brute force and endurance, but strategic intelligence as well, as illustrated by the famous Trojan Horse story. I hope that this remarkable heritage will inspire my dear Trojan compatriots to follow me on the path to glory. Victory is ours… and so are the medals!
